Local Attractions

Are tourism dollars important to your local economy?  If so, use the website to promote your community to potential visitors.

• Listing business names, phone numbers, physical addresses, and Web addresses is appropriate, but be very careful not to cross the line into advertising of any kind.  Add businesses' contact information under Business Directory (another subsection below).    

• Focus on natural attributes of your community and its surrounding area, general business districts and public sector attractions (museums, zoos, nature preserves, gardens, public spaces, etc.).

• Consider providing links to other websites, such as the Convention & Visitors Bureau, Chamber of Commerce and similar sites to make Local Attractions complete.
